- Description: View from street of main manufacturing building of the Millers Falls Company factory in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Framed section on third level shows where wall was removed to move a heat treating furnace into building. The 'temporary' wall was not replaced as a planning for a new plant was underway. Former company president James Mitchell remembers that replacement of the wall would have cost approximately $5,000.
