93 Reade Street, New York
Entrance
- Description: Exterior of the former Millers Falls Company office showing the street entrance to the building. Margot Gayle, in Cast-iron Architecture in New York (Dover Publications, 1974), states that the first floor windows are fourteen feet high. The reason for the vases in the windows was not apparent at the time the photograph was taken. Although the 1887 Millers Falls Company catalog refers the operation as "a full store with basements," it is unlikely that the business would have rented much space above the first floor.
